| Description | Colnago C68 Disc Frameset Beauty and perfomance come together in this Italian thoroughbred, it's called C68. Handmade in Italy and is the result of more than 4 years of research. The new splitted headtube is now stronger, lighter and more customizable than ever. Parts are reduced from 8 (C64) down to 6, saving weight (less bonding area) and machining/gluing time. Colnago C68 Disc Frameset completely redesigned fork, it is more stiff and resistant and weighs 40 grams less. The C68`s fork has been fully redesigned weighing 40 grams less, with an external rib-shape to give the rider more comfort (front stiffness) but also to increase the ride-quality (side stiffness). CeramicSpeed SLT (Solid Lubricating Technology) headset is included with this frameset, simplifying maintenance and reducing costs. Colnago C68 Disc Frameset borrows semi truncated drop shape from V3Rs adds a bit of aero performance, while giving better vertical compliance compared to the previous round 31.6mm seatpost. T47 bottom bracket for increased stiffness. Gluing the various parts of the frame, instead of assembling them inside a mould as happens with monocoque frames, still represents a uniqueness that allows for the creation of more sizes as necessary and, if desired, even a "made to measure" frame thanks to the titanium parts. The number of parts that constitute the frame is the same as with the previous C series even though, from an aesthetic point of view, its line may be more similar to that of a frame manufactured in one piece.
